How To Use The Dungeon Finder In Wow Patch 3.3

The new WOW (World of Warcraft" Patch 3.3 Dungeon Finder is "da bomb"! Before Blizzard came out with the WOW Patch 3.3 Dungeon Finder, if you wanted to join or put together a PUG (Pick Up Group) for an instance, you had one choice; you went to a major city (usually Dalaran) and called out in the trade channel for what you wanted to run. And then you waited! If you answered a call out and joined the queue you waited. You were stuck in the city with basically nothing to do.

The new WOW Patch 3.3 Dungeon Finder is a big improvement over the old system. Now…the old system still works. If you want to use it you can, but I can't imagine why you'd want to.

In the new Dungeon Finder system when you've joined a queue, you can go fish or do dailies or whatever you want to do because you'll be notified when the group has been picked. You don't have to stand around listening to the spew. With the new Dungeon Finder, the wait is usually less than 15 minutes.

To launch Dungeon Finder all you have to do is click on the 'rotating eye' icon that's next to 'Game Menu' icon. After you click on the icon you get to make some choices.

You can choose which dungeons you want to attempt and you can choose what role you want to play. There are three role choices; tank, healer, and DPS (damage per second). All roles are not available to all classes, of course.

And, because Blizzard really wants you to use the Dungeon Finder feature, you get an extra reward just for participating in the PUG. This little incentive "extra" is in addition to the usually rewards you'd expect to get.

3 Best Features Of Wow Patch 3.3 Dungeon Finder

In the World of Warcraft (WOW) universe before the Patch 3.3 Dungeon Finder was launched, if you wanted to put together a PUG (Pick Up Group), the only choice you had was calling out in the trade channel in a major city what you wanted to run. You used or watched the keywords, Looking For Group (LFG) or Looking For Members (LFM).

The WOW Patch 3.3 Dungeon Finder now provides a better way. Of course, you can still use the old way. It still works but why would you want to?

To launch this new WOW Patch 3.3 Dungeon Finder that Blizzard has introduced all you have to do is click on the 'rotating eye' icon that is next to 'Game Menu' icon.

The three best features of the WOW Patch 3.3 Dungeon Finder in my opinion are:

1. You can choose which dungeons you are willing to attempt. This feature makes putting a PUG together a lot faster.
2. Of course all roles are not available to every class but the new Dungeon Finder lets you choose which o

3. The extra reward that you’ll get for participating in the PUG. This extra award is in addition to normal rewards that you’d expect to get from an instance. This feature is basically an incentive that Blizzard is using to convince you to use the Dungeons Finder. (Works for me!)

After you’ve entered a queue you can go the new Dungeon Finder also allows you the freedom to go run dailies or fish or whatever you want to do while you wait rather than just standing around watching the spew while an instance is being put together.
