What WoW ranged class should I play?

I play a Hunter and Shadow Priest, Both capped. Now.. I am awesome at these two classes, Horrible at melee. My question is.. What should I level now?

One option is to get good at melee by diving into the thick. You could try a DK to make it easy.

But, if you are dead set on it being ranged, Mages are super fun to make things go boom. The damage numbers in a giant aoe fight are like music. Druids are super fun and can sometimes be easymode. While they don't normally top the damage charts, the sheer amount of "use 3 skills and everything dies" for all of the specs = easy mode faceroll awesome. (also, take herbalism and piss off other players because you don't have to dismount to herb.)

Warlock may be another good suit since you're used to playing a pet class.

My overall suggestion is druid. They amount of variety they hold would make it ideal. If you ever did want to be melee to get your ability up in that department, you'd be a talent spec change away. Tank, heal, dps, go for it.

Do you like to be in charge of people lives in WoW? You're doing a good job keeping everyone else alive but you? If you want to concentrate on dealing damage then you need to pay attention and be mindful of your surroundings. If you are a bit slow, then healing is your safest bet. No matter which tactic you choose, you can always find many strategies to use in a Priest PvP guide. Battleground Priest PvP Guide

Priests in BG's can make the difference between winning and loosing. As one, you should always stay around a your team. If you want to play BG's mostly and have just started PvPing it is better to spec Discipline and a little bit of Holy. What you want to do is pick from your team one or two players who you think know what they are doing and just keep them alive. They will notice you are healing them and they will protect you in turn. I haven't met a person yet who ignored a Priest that healed him. Once you go through a couple of battles and win them, you can ask them to help you capture towers or flags. It is very important to make such connections in BGs as the enemy loves nothing more than a Priest who has no protection. If you have been playing WoW for some time, you can try the Shadow build. You should then aim for the weakest classes, like casters and healers. No matter what spec you choose, you will always have the Fear spells with which you can control the enemy.
