a "real" Pelican came to visit with me. Now what do I do?

I was praying outside last Friday. Some Pelicans flew overhead. I finish praying & go to return home. I find a pelican 30' away. It follows me home. I check, it's not hurt/sick. Maybe hungry? So I feed it. It's very friendly. It lets me hold it. I take it's photo and email it. My priest calls, says, wow, symbol of Christ etc. I didn't know that. I research it over the internet typing in pelican + catholic. So I feel really special...in my own Catholic spiritual way. Now it is Monday. It's still here. Does anyone want to share their spiritual insight with me. Perhaps tell me what heaven is trying to tell me etc. No this is not a joke, and I'm not drunk etc. I want to talk seriously to other people since I feel this is a heavenly matter to be taken seriously.

The myth of the pelican is actually older than Christianity.

People believed that a pelican mother would pierce her own chest with her beak to feed her young with her blood, so it became a symbol of self-sacrifice, charity and generosity.

It is in fact a myth- pelicans do not do that.

Also, pelicans are generally very friendly, gregarious, social creatures.

What would you rate my life on a scale of one to ten (ten being the best)?

(since 2 ppl answered last time and i doubt it even got posted here)

-i have NO close friends
-im shy and many ppl pity me cause im lonely
-i have bad grades
-im addicted to masturbating (4 years ive tried to quit)
-im religious and know if i dont do the following tough challanges, ill go to hell: 1. quit masturbating 2. confess to my priest (who know my parents well, etc)
-i have had MANY socially awkward moments (when i say many, i mean many)
-all my classes, i sit alone in the corner and feel like an idiot (5 days a week for about 5 years, and possibly more when im off to university)
-im not joking or exaggurating. (btw im used to these things, probably except for loneliness)

man who knows what id be doing if i wasnt religious

I would say your life is not too bad, honestly you have to concentrate on the things you do have in life, and not what you don't. If you have health you have alot of people beat. Some people dont even get the oppurtunity to try so many things because they suffer of terminal illnesses, or paralysis. You know it's not easy becoming a popular kid in school, but who cares you are not even there to socialize you are there to learn. I honestly can tell you, just stop being insecure and caring about what other people think and things will fall into place.

Please try to good in school, or you will regret if you don't, you can have all the oppurtunities in the world if you do. I was in school and wasted so much times with parties friends, and all these people end up going there seperate ways, and you are back to focusing on school and goals, and sometimes wish you would have put your studies first.
Just ask god for Guidance. )

You know the purpose of life if to live a good life, believe in god, and believe he will come back for us.

Good luck, and ask for your little problem alot of ppl have, just don't give up. If you are back tracked, just make a prayer and ask god to forgive and help you.
