World of Warcraft Crashing my Internet?

I just bought a new computer. Gaming computer with top of the line graphics, motherboard and 3G ram. I installed World of Warcraft and downloaded all the patches. Now every time I try to run World of Warcraft and enter the world with my character it almost instantly crashes my internet and I then have to restart my computer and modem. Anyone have any help?

Visit forums.worldofwarcraft.com and visit the technical forums. There you can receive great input and help from Gamemasters and other experienced problem solvers. You probably installed WoW incorrectly or your internet browser is messed up. If you go to the technical forums, and what they tell you to do doesn't work, go to a local computer store that repairs computers, I guarantee that they can fix it or that they play WoW and can help.

World of Warcraft Installation Help?

I've recently tried to install World of Warcraft onto my computer and I've installed it onto my computer and then have logged in and attempted to let the installer update it with all the patches. However, the installer will reach 98% every time and then give me and error message that says World of Warcraft.lnk.temp or something along those lines (the whole C:Program Files etc.... proceeds that) cannot be renamed and then below that message in the installer is another message that say World of Warcraft.lnk.temp cannot be deleted and then the installer closes out and returns to the page where I can begin installing. What is the problem here?

I really have no idea what the problem here is. But I do have one suggestion. First off, are you using Windows Vista? If you are, try moving the World of Warcraft folder onto your desktop before installing updates. Vista does not like messing with things in the Local Disc (C:) Drive. My father has Vista and hasn't had any problems, but you can always try it.
