World Of Warcraft On Ubuntu

will world of warcraft work on ubuntu if i used linux wine???

i am buying a dell laptop with amd sepron 3600+ and ati 1150 graphics card and 1gb ram. If i put linux on it along with wine will it run without problem???

It MIGHT run but most games don't officially support mobile video cards, let alone emulators. Also, the ATI 1150 isnt exactly a powerful video card, there are lots of better ones nowadays. Don't waste money on a poor laptop because in the long run your just going to waste money.

World of Warcraft in Ubuntu?

Ok so i made the switch to ubuntu and i want to have world of warcraft on it. i did not dual boot. I have the battle chest set so i cant use that so i downloaded the installer for the client off of the wow website. Can anyone help me get it set up it will not work with WINE because it says it has encountered an error.

Its likely you need to use a proprietary 3D driver.

Also, you should use the beta versions of WINE.
