World Of Warcraft System Requirements

What system requirements are best recommend to play world of warcraft plus its expansion packs?

i'm planning on buying a new computer soon (since mine is a piece of crap and it was barely able to run wc3 online) and my friend let me have world of warcraft plus the burning crusades expansion brand new and i know it says on the back of the box what system requirements it needs but i want to here from the gamers who play the game comfortable with no lag and smooth play, i want to know what you're playing with, Ram and stuff like that...

i am also planning on having 2 characters in the game, one horde and one alliance to experience the game better and see it from both sides and i know that will require more memory

- At least 15 GB of hard drive space.
- At least 2 GB of RAM. (1 GB will work but you'll experience a lot of lag in capital cities, especially at peak times, and may suffer from disconnects and hang-ups. 4 GB is best.)
- High-end video card.
- High speed internet connection.

Don't buy a computer from Best Buy or anything like that; build your own or get a gaming computer. Otherwise, your video card will likely suffer.

I have probably 20 characters in the game; since you can only play one at a time, it doesn't require more RAM, nor does it require memory on your computer. The characters are stored on Blizzard's servers, not your hard drive.

World of Warcraft help with system requirements!!!?

Hey guys. Anyway, I have a Dimension 4400 with 256MB RAM and a GeForce 2 MX card *( I know this isnt a great card) and I really want to play WoW, and I am aware my system specs are a tad weak. First of all, if I upgrade my compter an extra 512MB, giving me 768MB, will that be enough for me to play the game (I am not demanding outstanding graphics, etc.), or should I definately get a new video card? Also, how much will the RAM and/or card cost me? Thanks a lot !

Your pc looks fine to me for WOW, you shouldn't have a problem. although i'd recomend a better graphic card. The game has such nice graphics, i'm sure you dont want to miss them

512mb goes for $70-90 last time i checked.
