Should i keep my Eng or get something better?

While playing wow i picked up engineering as a prof, Over my 20 or so levels i ended up sinking a LOT of my hard earned money into it. But now that i have hit 81 i see almost no point to having it other that the wormhole generator and parachute. Im not sure if i should give it up. BTW it is at about 490 or so. Should i change it? If so what to change it to?

Ideas?
