I have read some early posts on other sites that Blizz started banning accounts that used Cedega to run WoW. I have also read that many people have no problem running WoW with Wine.
Does anyone know if Blizz has a problem with clients running on Linux?
I really feel like starting up again, but I would hate to play for a month, then have Blizz ban the account because I'm using a 3rd party program to help the game to run. (Un-automated).
Does anyone know for certain that Blizz does not have an issue with People running from a Linux machine, using 3rd party software to emulate the windows environment?
While they dont have a problem with running the game from a Linux machine, they also dont support it. This means that if you have problems with it you will have to look elsewhere for help.
The bannings in the past happened do to a false detection from the Warden program. It has been fixed and you should have no problems now.

Question about Mac OSX and Unix/Linux?
Can I run the MacOSX WoW client on other Unix/Linux Os's rather than using wine since OSX is Unix? Or is it specially designed for ONLY the OS X distro of unix?
no...
WoW For Mac is made for the native APIs and Frameworks used on a Mac that no other Unix flavor uses... This is the same with most Mac software.
