World of Warcraft: missing Addon Button on Login Screen since new patch?

Ever since patch 3.2 went live, my AddOn button is missing from my Character Login page where it always has been. I checked and my screen resolution is correct and showing the area where the Button should be... but it is just missing. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anyway to restore the button or some reason why it has been erased?

Someone else I know had this problem, they told her to do this:

Open your World of WarcraftWTFconfig.wtf file in Wordpad, then add the following line:

SET fixedfunction "1"

Save the file and start the game

Why isn't the addon button on my character screen in WoW?

I know I put it in the correct folder (AddOns) but for some reason when I login the button is not on my character screen. I've done a repair on everything using the WoW utility and it hasn't changed. Any ideas?

well which addon you want to install? It depends on that. If the mod you want to use doesn't have an icon then you can't. Better go to the key bindings menu and at the bottom usually there you will find your addon you just bind it to a key and when you press the key afterwards it will show up (it's like that with most of the addons)
