They may even prevent you from ever being listed by them.

4. Using keywords that are not related to your website.

Many unethical website owners try to gain search engine visibility by using keywords that have nothing at all to do with their website. They place unrelated keywords in a page (such as "sex", the name of a known celebrity, the hot search topic of the day, etc.) inside a meta tag for a page. The keyword doesn't have anything to do with the page topic. However, since the keyword is popular, they think this will boost their visibility. This technique is considered spam by the search engines and may cause the page (or sometimes the whole site) to be removed from the search engine listing.

5. Keyword stuffing.

Somewhat like keyword stacking listed above, this means to assign multiple keywords to the description of a graphic or layer that appears on your website by using the "alt=" HTML parameter. If the search engines find that this text does not really describe the graphic or layer it will be considered spam.

6. Relying on hidden text.

You might be inclined to think that if you cannot see it, it doesn't hurt. Wrong.... Do not try to hide your keywords or keyword phrases by making them invisible. 7. Relying on tiny text.

8. Assuming all search engines are the same.

Many people assume that each search engine plays by the same rules. This is not so. Each has their own rule base and is subject to change anytime they so desire. Make it a point to learn what each major search engine requires for high visibility.

9. Using free web hosting.

Do not use free web hosting if you are really serious about increasing site traffic via search engine visibility. Many times the search engines will eliminate content from these free hosts.

10. Forgetting to check for missing web page elements.

Make sure to check every page in your website for completeness, like missing links, graphics, etc. There are sites on the web that will do this for free.

This is just a few of the methods and techniques that you should avoid. Do not give in to the temptation that these methods will work for you. They will do more harm than good for your website.

Not only will you spend weeks of wasted effort, you may have your site banned from the search engines forever. Invest a little time to learn the proper techniques for increasing search engine visibility and your net traffic will increase.

Need "good books to read advice for a 14 year old book worm?

I'm a teenager, and love reading, and have read a lot of the conventional, popular Young Adult books and a lot of the classics. I like reads that aren't obvious or patronising like some of the light hearted teen books around, and am looking for something a bit more obscure to read next. I like thought provoking books, big novels you can really get into.

So any suggestions? Any books you have read recently and thought "WOW"? Please help.

Noughts and Crosses Series by Malorie Blackman
believe me its good no matter what keep reading till you have finished all of them and they are quite obscure especially the first book. Series includes:
1.Noughts and Crosses
2.Knife Edge
3.Checkmate
4.Double Cross (only came out I think at the end of last year)

Malorie Blackman's Books are in general quite good but Noughts and Crosses series is just the best. For me its just because of the idea of the story, what truth it carries and how she is trying to get her point across by the idea she used.

I think most of people will like these books but it depends of the person of course and their taste anyway try them!

Other books I would recommend are:
1.Blue sky freedom by Halberstam, Gaby (about apartheid in south africa)
2.Meri Sugarman, Psycho queen by Apostolina, M. (This is more teen stuff about a girl in america who is going to high school or college and stays on campus)
3.Ruling class by Pascal, Francine (Similar to the above for teens about a girl who finds it difficult to fit into her new school)
4.If a tree falls at lunch break ( about a girl who is finding life difficult at the moment)
5.Broken Soup by Jenny Valentine
6.Looking for Alaska

The 2.-4. are rather girly but quite nice.

I would also advice Sarah Dessen Books especially Just Listen and This Lullaby.

Bass

Fish sizes vary but you can catch fish from just a few pounds in weight and up to over 100lb (conger)

Quick tip - get proper wrecking booms of about 10 - 15 inches long as they keep the flowing trace away from your mainline

Pirks - These are lead made lures with a treble hook at the bottom of the pirk . You can use them in conjunction with muppets

Shads - Fish shaped lures that are worked by reeling in

Vary the speed that you that you retrieve your lures and remember that the speed of the tide also effects the action of the lure

On the drop down keep you finger on you spool so that you control the speed of the decent. If you do not you will only end up with a birds nest (tangle)

When you are working your lures count how many turns up you get your fish. This will save time if they are being taken say 40 turns up as you can quickly go to that depth

Have a good supply of rigs made up as if you loose your rig on a wreck it can be quickly replaced ready for the next drift

Rods You will need a stand up boat rod such as a Penn Ugly stick with rods being 20lb test curve as begin the lighter work through to 50lb for the big conger and ling

Reels

The reels you will need to be using are multipliers. The reason for this is because they can handle the weight of bringing up fish from such depth. Also they carry a lot more line

Line There are two choices what type of line to use

Monofilament line This is the standard fishing line , which as the benefits of being able to stretch a little bit . As for your line strength this can vary from 20 to 50lb and more so if in doubt just ask your skipper for advice but as a guideline 25lb will handle most wrecking situations.

The down side to monofilament line is that of the diameter of the line which will get caught in the tidal flow causing the line to bow and will result is you having to use a heaver lead weight

If you are new to wrecking monofilament line is the best to go for

Braid fishing line

This is a very low diameter fishing line which gives you a much great contact with what is going on . Because of it lower diameter you will be able to use less weight to fish , which is a great bounce when pull fish from depths of a hundred feet or so

WARNING - Never use your hands to hold your line if it gets stuck on a wreck a you could loose your fingers. Let out plenty of line then rape your line round a piece of wood ect and then pull your line free. Skippers will always help you and have the correct piece of kit to get you free, if in doubt ask for help from the skipper

Why I Love Fishing

Early on I got to learn what a pleasure it was to go fishing. My Dad was the one who showed me all about what was to become a lifelong pursuit. It didn't take long before I was hooked, I can tell you.

I also love cooking the fish I catch and t there's nothing like eating fresh caught fish!

I spent some time in the mountains of California, above Palm Springs in a lovely little mountain village called "Idyllwild" where there was a nice reservoir, stocked with rainbow trout, where I used to hide out for the afternoon to fish and rest. It was a lovely place full of the sounds of birds chirping and the rustling of the leaves from the trees while the fresh breeze blew; I'd get to leave it all behind and spend time and to this day it's one of the fondest memories of my time there. What I wouldn't give to be able to live there for it was truly and idyllic place...

But whether fresh or salt water, it really doesn't matter to me as long as it's fishing, you know? It can be in a small canoe or by the edge of a lake, river or on the pier in the middle of the city, it really doesn't matter to me as long as I can spend some time doing one of my favorite pastimes of all- fishing...

Of course, it's always better when you do catch some great fish for dinner but those of you that love fishing can understand what I'm saying I'm sure...
