How can I bypass WoW patching?

I'm trying to join a favorite private server of mine on WoW where the specific realms that I want to get into are at version 3.3.2 compatibility. However, each time I try to log into the servers, it tries to auto-patch me up to 3.3.3, thus making me have to wait until the realms to reach 3.3.3 status if I were to go ahead.

Ok firstly you are going to need to do whats called manually patching this means you need to google the patches you require in order to get up to your required one which in this case is 3.3.2. ensure that you have the correct region such as US or EU as it wont work otherwise.

When you have reached the correct patch you will need to navigate to your wow folder and there will be 2 WoW icon files one will be called "launcher.exe" the other "wow.exe" open wow exe and that will put you stright into the log in screen therefore bypassing the launcher and essentially the automatic patching process. you will also need to update the realm list accordingly to your freinds one he should be able to guide you through that, if you have any questions dont hesitate to contact me.

Can't Login To World of Warcraft?

I downloaded the game World of Warcraft onto a Sony Vaio Laptop sometime two December's ago. We had it up and running for about two months, then it stopped logging in. Through repeated installations, repairs run on the software and checks on server status and internet, we still cannot get the game to login. I have downloaded it and successfully played WOW on both a Dell Dimension 2400 and a newer, Gateway M-1617. Both the Vaio and Gateway were bought almost 3 years ago and both are capable of running this game. I need to know why it won't log it.
