I downloaded/extracted an RAR file, but I don't know what to do with it now.?
I downloaded an RAR file from Rapidshare, and I was told that I should download 7zip for it, and I did download 7zip, but I don't know what to do now that I have it. (The file I downloaded was a quest helper called zygor for WoW) What do I do now? I was also told that I should extract the files, and now I did, but what do I do? Oh yeah, I know almost nothing about computers... Please remember that last bit of information, and be as thorough as possible.
Right click on it, mouse-over 7-zip and click something close to "extract"
Or you can click "Open With" and select 7-Zip. Now 7-Zip will open ( it will be a large white box with files inside of it ), highlight all the files by holding down the left mouse button dragging your mouse ( They should change color ), Now click the extract button on the top of the screen, It looks like a blue -

double click on the rar file and you computer will probably ask you what to do because it doesn't recognize the file type select the select program from list option then click browse... go to my computer>C:>program files>7z then choose either 7zFM or 7zFM.exe and it should open ope for you. Or right click the rar file and click extract here
